RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT

FOR REMOVAL OF DISEASED TREES FROM
PRIVATE PROPERTY FOR THE PERIOD OF
AUGUST 1 , 1986...`C,O JULY 31 , 1987
WHEREAS, costs have been determined for the removal of
diseased trees from the following private properties in the City
of Richfield and the expenses incurred or to be incurred for such
work during the period of August 1, 1986 through July 31, 1987
amount to $14,051.45.

WHEREAS, the city clerk has notified the City Council that
such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in his
office for public inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Richfield, Minnesota:
i. A hearing shall be held on the 14th day of September, 1987
in the city hall council chambers at 7 PM, or as soon thereafter
as it may be reached on the agenda, to pass upon such proposed
assessment and at such. time and place all persons owning property
affected by said diseased tree removal assessment will be given
an opportunity to be heard in reference to such assessment.
2. The city clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the
hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the
official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and
he shall state in the notice the total cost of the diseased tree
removal. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the
owner of each parcel described in the assessment roil not less
than two weeks prior to the hearing.
