RESOLUTION NO. 7286
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION
FOR FAU FUNDING FOR A PROJECT IN AND NEAR
THE CITY OF RICHFIELD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richfield is the official
governing body of the City of Richfield; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has identified a need to increase the traffic
efficiency and capacity of Lyndale Avenue from 77th Street to 79th Street,
including a new bridge over I494, as part of the city's ILN plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined this project to be warranted
and desirable for improvement through the Federal Aid to Urban Systems
Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield, Minnesota that the city manager is hereby authorized and directed
to submit an application for FAU funding for improvements to Lyndale
Avenue from 77th Street to 79th Street, including a new bridge over I494.
