RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR
C.P. 832 - 1987 ALLEY PAVING
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the city council, the city engineer
has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of the following alleys
by reconstruction and concrete paving:

Harriet and Grand Avenue

And has presented such plans and specifications to the council for
approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved;
2. The city clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
newspaper and the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making
of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published February 18, 1987, shall specify the work to be done, shall state
that bids will be received by the clerk until 11:00 a.m. on March 12, 1987, at which
time they will be publicly opened in the council chambers of the city hall by the
city clerk and city engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the
city council at 7:00 p.m. on March 23, 1987, in the council chambers and that no
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the clerk and accompanied by
a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the clerk
for five percent (5~) of the amount of such bid.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 9th
day of February, 1987.
