RESOLUTION NO. 7276
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INCREASE IN NOTARY FEE
WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute 357.17 states the maximum
fees to be charged and collected by a notary public shall be
$1.00 for a notary transactions, and,
WHEREAS, the City of-Richfield provides notary public
services and incurs certain costs in doing so; and,
WHEREAS, these costs are funded by revenue from notary fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
establishes the fee to be charged and collected by a notary
public. employed by the City as $1.00 per notary transaction
effective the date of passing this resolution.
