Resolution Approving Pay Rate
Adjustment for Election Judges
WHEREAS, Minnesota Election Law provides that compensation
to election judges serving in-any city is to be determined by the
governing body of the .city and that election judges shall receive
at least the prevailing Minnesota minimum wage for each hour
spent carrying out their duties at the polling places and in
attending training sessions, and,
WHEREAS, the Richfield City Council recognizes the
importance of the role of election judges in the conduct of
elections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
establishes the following pay rates for election judges effective
the date of passing this resolution:
Chairperson $5.00 per hour
Co-Chairperson $4.50 per hour
Judge $4.25 per hour
