RESOLUTION. NO. 7241
RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1987 CAPITAL IMPROVII`~NT BUDGET
WHEREAS, a proposed Capital Improvement Budget for 1987 has been
prepared and submitted for review by the City Council in accordance with
charter requirements, and
WHEREAS, the city council has received the reca~unendations and benefit
of review of these proposed documents by the Planning Conmiission and has it-
self reviewed these proposals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVID that the 1987 Capital Improvement
Budget in the sum total of $6,933,750 is hereby approved and adopted with
full recognition of the fact that the cost estimates are approximate and
are subject to final cost estimates and that all awards of contracts for these
projects are subject to necessary hearings and must be approved by the city
council in accordance with established laws and practices governing such
action, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to initiate the procedures which will lead to more formal and
detailed consideration of these projects in accordance with the aforementioned
laws and practices.
