87-7337RRESOLUTION N0. 7337 RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON REMOVAL OF DISEASED TREES FROM PRIVATE PROPERTY FOR THE PERIOD OF AUGUST 1, 1986 TO JULY 31, 1987 WHEREAS, pursuant to property notice duly given as required by law, the city council has met and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for current services related to removal of diseased trees from the following private property in the City of Richfield. Such proposed assessment roll is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special asseslsment against the lands named herein, and each tract of land there~~in included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed current services in the amount of the assessment levied against ifi. 2. Such assessment shall) be payable in no more than three annual installments and shall bear interest at the rate of eight percent from the date of adoption of this assessment resolution. 3. The owner of any propi,erty so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of thle assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessm'~,ent on such property to the city's Assessing Division and he mal,y, at any time thereafter, pay to the city's Assessing Division th'~,e entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with inter'iest accrued to December 31 of the year in which payment is mad',e. Such payment must be made before November 15 or interest will!be charged through December 31 of the succeeding year. 4. The city clerk shall 'forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment''roll to the county auditor to be extended on the proper tax 1'',ists of the county, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
