RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON
CITY PROJECT N0. 822, 1986 ALLEY PAVING
WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by
law, the city council has met and heard and passed upon all
objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement of the
following alleys by concrete paving;

Second and Third Avenue

NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the
City of Richfield, Minnesota as follo~°s:
1. The city clerk, with assistar~~re of the city engineer,
has calculated the proper amounts to b~=. assessed for City Project
No. 822, 1986 Alley Paving, against eti~~=ry assessable lot, piece
or parcel of land specially benefited :hereby in accordance with
the provisions of law and, further, t~~ proposed assessment so
made up was filed with the city clerk nor more than 15 days prior
to the assessment hearing and was open, to public inspection
during said period.
2. The city council has heretofce duly established City
Project No. 822 and, after carefully considering all the facts,
the benefits to each lot, piece or pat~el of land and fully
advising itself in the premises, has ur~d and determined and
hereby declares that each and every lei, niece or parcel of land
included in said proposed assessment r~.ll was improved by reason
of the construction of said City Proje t Vo. 822 and has been and
is specially benefited in the. amount sit .out in the attached
assessment roll opposite each such lot, piece or parcel of land.
3. The owner of any property so ~~ssessed may, at any time
prior to certification of the assessme~~t to the county auditor,
pay the whole of the assessment on suc;~~ property to the city
treasurer and he may, at any time ther•~after, pay to the city
treasurer the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid
with interest accrued to December 31 cj~ the year in which payment
is made. Such payment, however, must ~e made before November 15
or interest will be charged through December 31 of the succeeding
year.
4. Said assessment is hereby aff_rmed, adopted, confirmed
and shall be certified by the city c1eFk and filed in the office
of the city clerk and shall thereupon >e and constitute a special
assessment for said City Project No. &~2, 1986 Alley Paving.
