89-7533Ry4 RESOLUTION NO. 7533 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR COMPUTER HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND RELATED SERVICES WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for computer hardware, software and related services, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to .law; and WHEREAS, it appears that Bell Atlantic Data 3 of Bloomington, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota: 1. That the proposal dated July 31, 1989, of Bell Atlantic Data 3 for computer hardware, software and related services is hereby accepted for the items specified in Chapters IV, V and VII of the City's request for proposals dated July 10, 1989; 2. That the mayor and city manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the above mentioned products and services with Bell Atlantic Data 3 of Bloomington, Minnesota in the name of the City of Richfield for an amount not to exceed $79,496.00; 3. That, based on the proposals received, the City declines to award a contract for the implementation services specified in Chapter VI and the maintenance services specified in Chapter VIII of the City's request for proposals; 4. That the city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder, Bell Atlantic Data 3, Bloomington, Minnesota, shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
