RESOLUTION N0. 8003
THE CITY OF RICHFIELD, MINNESOTA
CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE SALE OF CERTAIN LAND
7701 HARRIET AVENUE AND 7646 LYNDALE AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield, Minnesota (the "City") proposes
to sell the real property described as:
Address: 7701 Harriet Avenue South
PID #: 34-028-24-33-0007
Legal Description: The south 45 feet of the north 75 feet of the
north 230 feet of the West Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 34, Township 28, Range 24, Hennepin
County, Minnesota;
AND,
Address: 7646 Lyndale Avenue South
PID #: 33-028-24-44-0048
Legal Description: That part of the east 91.00 feet of Lot 7,
"Glenn's Addition", lying southerly of the north 28.3 feet of said Lot
7 and lying northerly of the south line of the north 31.57 feet of
said Lot 7, together with that part of said Lot 7 which lies west of
the east 91.00 feet of said Lot 7, which lies south of the north 28.3
feet of said Lot 7, and which lies northerly of a line run from the
southwest corner of the east 91.00 feet of the north 31.57 feet of
said Lot 7 to the southwest corner of the north 28.3 feet of said Lot
7
(the "Land").
WHEREAS, pursuant to the City Charter, Section 13.04, the City is
authorized to sell its Land following a public hearing for which
notice was published not less than ten days before such hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield, Minnesota as follows:
1. The City shall hold a public hearing regarding the sale of
the Land on Monday, April 26, 1993.
2. The City Clerk is directed to publish notice of such hearing
in the official newspaper of the City and post notice of
said hearing.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 12th day
of April, 1993.
