03-24 Resolution No. 11730 RESOLUTION NO. 11730 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RICHFIELD TO APPLY FOR THE REGIONAL SOLICITATION FOR TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS rd WHEREAS, the City of Richfield acts as the applicant for the 73 Street Safe Routes to School Project from Lyndale Avenue to Humboldt Avenue contained in the Safe Routes to School Infrastructure program application to be submitted by April 16, 2020; WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has the legal authority to apply for financial assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure matching funds and adequate construction of the proposed project; WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has not violated any Federal, State or local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or other unlawful or corrupt practice; WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has estimated the total project cost to be approximately $1,500,000; WHEREAS, the City of Richfield confirms if the project cost exceeds the amount listed in the Application, the City of Richfield will provide or secure all additional funds necessary to complete the project.; WHEREAS, the City of Richfield confirms that it will fund twenty percent of the total project cost, as required if selected for funding; WHEREAS, the City of Richfield certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules of the Application; and WHEREAS, that the sources and uses and other financing commitment represented are accurate. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Engineer is hereby authorized to apply to the Metropolitan Council for funding of this project on behalf of the City of Richfield. th Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 24 Day of March, 2020.
