RESOLUTION NO. 11744
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE LAWFUL GAMBLING PREMISES PERMIT
APPLICATION FOR FIREFIGHTERS FOR HEALING TO CONDUCT LAWFUL
GAMBLING AT SANDY’S TAVERN AT 6612 PENN AVENUE SOUTH
WHEREAS, the Firefighters for Healing is submitting an application to the
Minnesota Gambling Control Board for approval of a Premises Permit application to
conduct lawful charitable gambling at Sandy’s Tavern at 6612 Penn Avenue South,
Richfield, MN; and
WHEREAS, the gambling premises is located within the City limits of Richfield,
Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Firefighters for Healing is a lawful gambling organization within
the City; and
WHEREAS, the Firefighters for Healing will be responsible for operating and
managing the lawful gambling activity at the Sandy’s Tavern site and will comply with all
applicable requirements of city code and state statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota that the City Council does hereby approve the issuance of a Premises Permit
to the Firefighters for Healing to conduct lawful charitable gambling activities at Sandy’s
Tavern at 6612 Penn Avenue South, Richfield, Minnesota.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 23rd day of June
2020.
