HRARESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTIONAFFIRMINGMUNICIPAL TORT LIABILITY LIMITSESTABLISHED BY
MINNESOTA STATUTES 466.04
WHEREAS,Minnesota Statute 466.04 providesfor Municipal tort liability limits
for Minnesota citiesand for othermunicipalentities like the Richfield Housing and
RedevelopmentAuthority;and
WHEREAS,the League ofMinnesota CitiesInsurance Trust hasasked thateach
participating entity review the tort liability limits and determine ifthe respective entity
wouldchoose towaive itslimits;and
WHEREAS,such decision toaffirm or waive the tort liability limits must be filed
with the League of Minnesota CitiesInsurance Trust atthe insurance renewal date.
NOW,THEREFORE, BEITRESOLVEDthatthe Executive Director is directed
toreport to the League ofMinnesota CitiesInsurance Trustthatthe Richfield HRAdoes
notwaive the monetary limits on the municipal tort liability established byMinnesota
statutes 466.04.
