RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL
NOMINATION PRIMARY OF MARCH 3, 2020 AND APPROVAL OF THE ABSENTEE
BALLOT BOARD FOR THE 2020 ELECTION CYCLE
WHEREAS, a Presidential Nomination Primary will be held on Tuesday, March 3,
2020.
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 2046.21 Subd. 2 provides that election judges for
precincts in a municipality shall be appointed by the governing body of the municipality and
that the appointments be made at least 25 days before the election at which the election
judges will serve.
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 2036.121 provides for the appointment of qualified
individuals to serve as the City of Richfield absentee ballot board under the direction of the
election official.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
(1) that the following are hereby appointed as judges for said election and (2) the City
Clerk is authorized to include all members appointed to the Hennepin County absentee
ballot board, under the direction of the County Election Manager, to serve as members of
the Richfield absentee ballot board.
