1. Meeting called to order by Chair Mark Westergaard at 6:31PM.
2. Approval of Agenda
a.) Jeff moved; Chara seconded; Unanimously approved
3. Approval of Minutes (from May)
i. Todd moved; Jeff seconded; Unanimously approved.
4. Reports
a.) Chair’s report: Mark reported that the previous months presentation about
human trafficking was successful with 28-30 attendees.
b.) Treasurer’s report: Jeff stated that there is $134.02 in our account.
5. Unfinished Business
a.) 2015 RHRC annual report: After some typo corrections and other updates, the
annual report was approved and will be presented at the next city council meeting.
b.) Gene and Mary Jacobsen Outstanding Citizen Award: The award will be present-
ed to this year’s winner, Russ King (Miss Richfield 1981) at the June 9th city council meet-
ing. A reception will be held for Russ at 5:30 at city hall before the meeting.
c.) 4th of July Parade: The RHRC will participate in the parade this year. Postcards
(in Spanish and English) with information about the commission will be distributed during
the parade. A subcommittee was formed to work on preparations for the parade.
d.) Community Conversation update: There are still issues with the final report and
the subcommittee will meet one more time to complete the document so that it can be pre-
sented at the next possible city council meeting.
