HRC Activity
Loaves & Fishes – Kenny reported on the services of Loaves & Fishes
MIRA –Molly and Todd are still working on connecting with MIRA
Financial Report
The HRC applied for and was approved for a grant of $500.00 from the New Americans Healthy Together initiative.
These funds will help to cover the printing cost for the flyers and brochures we have available at the different events
through out the year.

Yellow Ribbon Campaign
No new news at this time.
ITEM #6 EDUCATION
Presentation on Citizen’s with disabilities by Les Bauer, Civic Engagement Coordinator ARC of MN

The HRC elections were held. Our new seats are as follows:

The July meeting has been canceled. Our next meeting will be on August 2 at the new City Hall beginning at 6:30
pm.

Happenings

Our second book club event will be on June 20 at 6:30 pm at Wood Lake Nature Center. Topic: Immigration
Book: From Every Ends of this Earth.
HRC presents their annual Activity report to City Council at Council meeting on June 14, 2011.
The reception for the recipient of the Citizen of the Year award for 2011will be held at the City Council meeting on
Tuesday June 28, 2011.
