ITEM #6 NEW BUSINESS:
Mark McNamer from The Storefront Group presented information about his organization. They provide
services to people living with a Mental Illness. They also serve domestic abuse victims, teach teen
pregnancy prevention, and work with Veterans,
Nancy Roberts will attend Dec. Statewide HRC Conference.
Discussed community outreach through Human Rights Book Club. It is a way to connect with community.
We agreed to hold a club meeting bi-monthly. The first book will address the needs of Veterans.
The RHRC is requesting the City Council to vote on the Domestic Partnership Ordinance. This will require
two sessions.
