Clarence Schadegg contacted Anthony Bradford with concerns about an intersection at 73 and Nicollet
Avenue. He alleges that the intersection is dangerous to cross for children and people who are legally
blind. He is advocating for a stop light. Nicollet is a county road and not under Richfield’s jurisdiction for
traffic signals. He has contacted MNDOT, the Richfield Mayor, his City councilor, and the Richfield Public
Safety Department about his concerns. He is also concerned that Richfield sidewalks are not properly
plowed for people who are legally blind.
Phillip Lowe has requested to make a presentation on Domestic Partner Registry. He will make this
presentation at the April 6, 2010 Meeting.
Each Commissioner will research an area of what human service resources are available in Richfield and
determine if there are barriers making it difficult for people in need to discover these resources.
Anthony Bradford will explore Mental Health Services, this includes Substance abuse.
Joan Kraft will explore affordable and accessible Transportation.
Michael Sharkey will explore legal resources for immigrants. He will also focus on satellite offices in the
area.
Molly Darsow will explore Domestic Abuse resources.
