Minutes of Meeting of December 13, 1989

CALL TO ORDER
President Jan Cerny called the meeting to~`order at 7:13 p.m. in
the Richfield City Hall conference room.
ROLL CALL
Present: Cerny, Mabone, Palm, Starleaf, Doebler, Larson,
Lindberg, Tjornholm, and Butler.
Excused: Collins, Louis, Severe, Little
Absent: Treichel, Selland
MINUTES
Minutes from February 2, 1989 meeting were approved. Notes from
May 4, 1989 meeting were accepted rather than approved since a
quorum was not in attendance, therefore no official business was
conducted.
NEW BUSINESS
Cerny called for volunteers to serve on the nominating committee.
Palm, Larson and Tjornhom agreed to serve and submit a slate of
officers by December 20.
Next meeting to be Tuesday, January 9, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. at city
hall. Officers will be elected at this meeting and attendance is
required.
OLD BUSINESS
Cerny indicated that two members are approaching four consecutive
unexcused absences, and in accordance with statutes are to be
reported to the Chief Judge for removal.
Doebler submitted the city charter text which he edited for
purposes of gender neutralizing. Cerny asked that each member
review the charter prior to the next meeting January 9 to offer
suggestions or report discrepancies. Cerny thanked Doebler for
his effort iri editing the entire charter.
