2011-07-21 Minutes Richfield Friendship City Commission Minutes
July 21, 2011
The meeting was called to order at 7pm by chair Roger Swanson. In attendance were Roger
Swanson, Dave Delzer, Craig Osten, Cynthy Mandl, and Molly Olson.
Andrew Burg has moved to South Dakota so he will not be able to attend meetings.
The June minutes were approved. As of June 30th the treasurer's report was $4,222.81.
We have the display case behind the Oxcart. There is only space for flat pieces. There is a need
to look into more secure storage for our items. Frank still has the archives and agreed to keep
them until we find a new place to store them.
An open house is being considered for late October or early November, when the City Municipal
Building holds its open house. The status of Cattail Days is unknown.
Craig will contact Shayla Driver on becoming an official member. Cynthy will look into where
the sculpture will be placed at city hall.
Members of the commission have agreed to upload pictures of Costa Rica trip onto our Facebook
page. The Commission has its annual report to the city council in October.
Craig will not be able to attend the August meeting.
Next meeting will be August 18tn
