2012-02-16 Minutes Richfield Friendship City Commission Minutes
February 16th, 2012
The meeting was called to order by Roger Swanson. We met in the
lobby of City Hall as we were waiting for visitors, a young lady(s)
anticipating traveling to Costa Rica. Those present were Roger
Swanson, Dave Delzer and Craig Osten. There were no new
members. The minutes for meetings on October 11 th, November
17th and January 19th were approved. The treasurer's report
indicated a balance of$4227.10.
Roger Swanson reported that he had picked up the historical
records from Frank Sitko who has moved to Minneapolis. Thanks
to the Richfield Arts Commission for their Richfield Public Arts
Tour brochure and thanks to Cynthy Mandl for her input into it
regarding Kirchbak Gardens. A report is expected from Dave
Delzer regarding the sculpture Guillermo Hernandez Gonzalez
offered, on Richfield Park in Heredia, and other items of interest
to the commission when he and Linda visit Heredia next month.
There will be no meeting in March due to a lack of a quorum; the
next meeting will be April 19th, 2012.

Our visitor called at 8:30 pm, she had been dropped off by her
parents at the Richfield Community Center rather than at City Hall.
She indicated she will come to our April meeting if she can.
