Subject: Housing Proposal - 66th St & Queen Ave
Council Members and Commissioners:
The properties between 65th and 66th Streets and approximately Russell and Queen
Avenues have been guided for High Density Residentia l (HDR) development since
1997. Prior to this, portions of the area were designated as Mixed Use or Commercial.
Broadway Investors LLC, represented by Erik Winegarden and David Lundy, recently
purchased the property at 2412 – 66th Street and are exploring options for housing
development in this area. On August 20 at 6:00 p.m., Mr. Winegarden and Mr. Lundy
will present a variety of potential scenarios for the Council and Planning Commission to
consider.

Subject: Portland Roundabout Remnant Parcel - Development Proposal
Council and Commissioner Members:
Following construction of the Portland Avenue roundabout in 2008, several remnant
parcels (6613 – 6625 Portland Avenue) remained and were identified for residential
development. At the August 20 work session, the Council and Commissioners will hear
a development proposal for the property from Interstate Development (developers of
Plaza 66).
Victoria Perbix from Interstate will present preliminary plans for a multi-family housing
development on the site.
