RESOLUTION APPROVING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
FOR MNDOT LANDSCAPE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on August 8, 2017, the City Council approved site plans for Seven
Hills Preparatory Academy at 1401 76th Street West; and
WHEREAS, the approved plan includes plantings along 76th Street West, on
right-of-way owned by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT); and
WHEREAS, MnDOT administers the Community Roadside Landscape
Partnership Program to plan, fund, and manage plantings on MnDOT right-of-way; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Richfield, Minnesota that the City of Richfield enter into MnDOT Agreement No.
1031419 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following
purposes:
To provide for payment by the State to the City for the acquisition of landscape
materials to be placed adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 35W at 76th Street under
State Project No. 2782-969F (T.H. 35W=394)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Manager are
authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 26th day of
June, 2018.
