The primary purpose of this committee would be to coordinate review among the appropriate city advisory commissions of the housing assistance plan new being developed o At the January 27 meeting the commissioners approved the concept of the ad hoc committee and appointed the cl`~airmen of t?~e senior citizens advisory comm- ission, the human rights commission, and the planning comYission as members of the committeeo At that tirr~e it was suggested that the chairmen of these commissions could appoint someone else on the commission to serve in their capacity if they were unable to d.o soo There was also discussion of the desir- ability of appointing four citizens to serve on this ad hoc committee with such appointments to be made at the February 10, 1975 HRA meeting. It is the rec- ommendation of the staff that due to the l~miLed tine available for review of the housing assistance plan ~t_~i.s plan is one of the requirements for a community development grant application wl~.ich must be submitted next month) that the ad hoc committee be li.~~ite.d. to rep~r~esPntatives from the t1_?.ree advisory commissions.
