05-27-75 agenda CITY OF RICHFIELD, MINNESOTA Office of Executive Director HRA Letter No. 13 Agenda May 27, 1975 Housing and Redevelopment Authority Commissioners City of Richfield Gentlemen: Subject: Progress Report on Lyndale/Hub/Nicollet Commercial Improvement Study The purpose of this HRA letter is to provide commissioners with a progress report on the Lyndale/Hub/Nicollet commercial improvement study. As part of our consulting agreement Bather Ringrose Wolsfeld have been developing prelim- inary alternative land use programs. These preliminary alternatives are not necessarily the final alternatives which will be considered but are being drafted to stimulate business and residential input to the city and the consultant on potential land use . A copy of each of the three preliminary alternatives together with an evaluation form which is being used with these groups is attached for your information. After all comments have been received from residents and the commercial improvement study committee, a set of three final alternatives will be developed . These alternatives will be presented to the residents, the L/H/N study committee and the entire commercial improvement committee. A recommended alternative will then be presented to the HRA and the planning commission for review. A number of meetings have already been held with these organizations and considerable input has already been received. Another meeting of the residential committee is scheduled for Thursday, May 29. The planning director will be present at the HRA meeting to answer any questions which commissioners might have concerning these preliminary alternatives . Respectfully su 'tted, Wayne S.
