Subject: Request for Permit for Illuminated Sign
Terry Feldman's Imports, 920 W. 78th Street
Council Members:
Signcrafters, Inc. has requested an advertising permit
to erect an illuminated pedestal sign for Terry Feldman's Imports
located at 920 West 78th Street. The proposed sign will measure
28' x 34' (160 square feet). City ordinance provides that the
city council must approve all permits for illuminated signs.
Staff Review and Recommendation:
The inspection division staff has reviewed the sign permit
application and finds that the sign conforms to applicable City
Ordinances subject to the effective date of ordinance change.
It is recommended that the city council approve the permit
application with the stipulation that the sign not be erected
until the ordinance permtting oversize signs is in effect.

The purpose of this letter is to amend the Application
for Advertising Permit dated April 18, 1986, which requests a
permit for the erection of pedestal sign 44 feet in height.
This is the only remaining Application for Advertising Permit
before you for which a building permit has not yet been
issued.
This letter will confirm our request that we have
previously discussed that the Application be amended to
indicate that the height of the sign will be 34 feet instead
of 44 feet as originally shown on the Application. The
specifications for the sign as shown in the accompanying
materials will remain otherwise intact.
