Special City Council Meeting
April 11 , 2006
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kirsch at 5:31 p.m.
Members Present:
Martin Kirsch, Mayor; Susan Rosenberg; Fred Wroge; Bill Kilian; and Sue
Sandahl.
Staff Present:
Steven Devich, City Manager; Pam Dmytrenko, Assistant to City Manager;
Cheryl Krumholz, Recording Secretary; Corrine Thomson, City Attorney;
and Mac LeFevre, CityAttorney.

City Attorney Thomson explained the City Council will be going into a Closed Executive
Session to discuss pending the cities of Minneapolis, Eagan and Richfield versus Metropolitan
Airports Commission litigation on noise mitigation. Mediation is scheduled for April 19, 2006 and
there is a need to discuss the current status of the litigation and strategies for the mediation.
Absolute confidentiality is required.
The City Council Closed Executive Session was called to order by Mayor Kirsch in the
Executive Conference Room at 5:35 p.m.
The Closed Executive Session was convened pursuant to M. S. 13D.05, subd. 3(b).
The Closed Executive Session concluded at 6:28 p.m. and the City Council returned to the
open meeting in the Council Chambers.

City Attorney Thomson stated the City Council had just returned from a Closed Executive
Session regarding airport litigation.
The Regular City Council Meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 6:35 p.m.
