Agenda September 7, 1994
Issue Statement:
Continuation of consideration and discussion of 1994 Revised/1995
Proposed budget and 1995 property tax levy.
Background:
On August 31, 1994, City staff began the process of presenting
the budget to the City Council for consideration and discussion.
The materials could not be covered with the time provided on that
date so a continuation of the meeting has been scheduled for
September 7, 1994 at 7 p.m. As with the previous meeting, the
September 7 meeting will be televised.
Recommended Motion:
Review the 1994 Revised/1995 Proposed budget and related issues
with City Council.
Basis of Recommendation:
1. The September 7 Special Council meeting provides an informal
setting to discuss the proposed budget and tax levy prior to
the Truth in Taxation public hearings.
Alternative Recommendation:
None.
Discussion/Decision Mode:
The September 7, 1994 Special City Council meeting is set
primarily for the purpose of continuing the presentation and
discussion of the 1994 Revised/1995 Proposed budget and the 1995
property tax levy.
