Issue Statement:
Reconvening of the 1994 Board of Review.
Background:
On May 2, 1994 the City of Richfield convened the 1994 Board of
Review. The Board considered 23 cases, deferring action on 13 of
the cases to a reconvene date of May 9, 1994 at 5:30 p.m. The
continuance was provided to give the appellants and staff an
opportunity to prepare data on these properties so that the Board
could make an informed decision on each of them.
Recommended Motion:
Reconvene the Board of Review at 5:30 p.m. May 9, 1994 and take
action based on the information presented at the hearing.
Basis of Recommendation:
1. Reconvening of the Board has been scheduled publicly at the
May 2 meeting.
2. Information needed for the Board to make a determination on
• the remaining appeals will be available at or prior to the
hearing.
3. The Board of Review must conclude its business within 20 days
of May 2, 1994.
Alternative Recommendation:
None.
Discussion/ Decision Mode:
It would be desirable to conclude the proceedings of the Board of
Review on May 9, 1994.

COMMENTS:
The subject property was revalued along with all the apartments in the City of Richfield during
the summer of 1993 for the 1994 assessment. Physical on site inspection revealed that the
subject property to be in above average condition. Upon speaking with the property owner in
allow the appraiser to physically inspect the interior of the units. Therefore, no review appraisal
could be accomplished and I would recommend no change..
