03-28 Resolution No. 11340 RESOLUTION NO. 11340 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS RECEIVED BY MULTIPLE DONORS IN THE AMOUNT OF $750 IN HONOR OF THE ROBERT T. HINTGEN FOUNTAIN MEMORIAL WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 reads in part as follows: Any city, county, school district or town may accept a grant or devise of real or personal property and maintain such property for the benefit of its citizens in accordance with the terms prescribed by the donor. Nothing herein shall authorize such acceptance or use for religious or sectarian purposes. Every acceptance shall be by resolution of the council adopted by two-thirds majority of its members, expressing such terms in full, and WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has received grants and donations as described below: DATE DONOR PURPOSE AMOUNT The purchase of the Robert T. Hintgen 01/13/17 Kory Jorgenson Fountain Memorial. $50.00 Total Control The purchase of the Robert T. Hintgen 12/15/16 Systems Fountain Memorial. $200.00 Christopher and The purchase of the Robert T. Hintgen 01/12/17 Karen Cavett Fountain Memorial. $100.00 Miles and Laurie The purchase of the Robert T. Hintgen 01/14/17 Jensen Fountain Memorial. $100.00 Daniel and The purchase of the Robert T. Hintgen 01/10/17 Catherine Zienty Fountain Memorial. $200.00 Kirby and Theresa The purchase of the Robert T. Hintgen 01/11/17 Van Note Fountain Memorial. $100.00 WHEREAS, the Public Works Operations Superintendent will make use of these funds for the construction of the Robert T. Hintgen Fountain Memorial, a project completed to honor a Public Works employee. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as follows: That the City Council of the City of Richfield hereby accepts the donations as listed above and authorizes the City to administer the funds in accordance with agreements and terms prescribed by donors.
