RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 6625 2ND AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of
Richfield, Minnesota ("the HRA") desires to purchase certain real property pursuant to
and in furtherance of the Richfield Rediscovered Program, said property being
described as:
6625 2nd Avenue
Legal: North 1/2 of the West 1/2 of Lot 1, "Goodspeed's Second Plat, Richfield,
Minnesota"
Also described as: The North 50 feet of West 1/2 of Lot 1, "Goodspeed's Second
Plat, Richfield, Minnesota
WHEREAS, the HRA is authorized by Minnesota Statutes Section 469.012 to
acquire real property within its area of operation; and
WHEREAS, Housing and Redevelopment Fund money is available for
acquisition purposes.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority in and for the City of Richfield:
1. The purchase price for the property is approved at $95,000 plus
administrative fees, not to exceed $98,249.
2. The Chairperson and Executive Director are authorized to execute
a quit claim deed and to take other actions necessary to purchase
the property for the amount set forth in this Resolution.
Adopted by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of
Richfield, Minnesota on this 19th day of December, 2016.
