Issue Statement:
Tour of Richfield's Water Treatment Plant, 6221 Portland Avenue.
Background•
The renovation of the Water Plant is in progress and proceeding
on schedule. Council is invited to a brief tour of the facility
and for an on-site update on the progress of the project.
Entrance will be at the south door across from the construction
trailer. The meeting will be called to order in the lunchroom.
Recommended Motion:
This is an information item only; no action required.
Basis of Recommendation:
A tour of the Water Plant will allow the Council to become more
familiar with the renovation project and its progress.
Alternative Recommendation:
None.
Discussion/Decision Mode:-
Council is asked to meet at the Water Plant, 6221 Portland
Avenue, at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 1994. The tour is
approximately 45 minutes in length to provide sufficient time for
Council Members to return to City Hall for the 7 p.m. meeting.
