Issue Statement:
Discussion of the alternative plans for the Lyndale Avenue commercial area from West
77th to 74th Streets and the results of the neighborhood meeting..
Background:
The Planning Commission held a neighborhood corridor meeting on November 9, 1995,
as part of the Lyndale Avenue Strategic Development Plan process. Residents and
businesspersons reviewed and evaluated several alternative plans for upgrading the
business area. Hoisington Koegler Group has summarized the results of the meeting
and will use these results and other information gathered to date to evaluate the
alternative plans.
Recommended Motion:
No motion necessary.
Basis of Recommendation:
Participation by City policy makers is an important part of this planning process.
Alternative Recommendation:
None.
Discussion/Decision Mode:
Participation in the discussion at the Planning Commission meeting on Tuesday,
November 9, 1995 at 7 p.m. is invited.
