NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota: 1. Such proposed assessment roll, in the amount of$4,360.00, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named herein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed current services in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in no more than one annual installment and shall bear interest at the rate of five (5%) percent from the date of adoption of this assessment resolution. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor and within 30 days of the date the City Council adopts the assessment, pay the whole assessment on such property to the City's Assessing Division without interest. Payments received after the expiration of the 30 day prepayment period, but received prior to November 15, 2016 will be charged interest through the date of payment. Payments will not be accepted between November 15, 2016 and January 1, 2016. 4. The City Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment roll to the County Auditor to be extended on the property tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
