RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL
OF A SITE PLAN FOR
7500 PLEASANT AVENUE
WHEREAS, an application has been filed with the City of Richfield which requests
approval of site plan for the parcel of land located at 7500 Pleasant Avenue, legally
described as:
The West 468.68 feet of the East. 493.68 feet of the that part of the South 20.00 acres of
the North 30.00 acres of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter lying South of the
North 4.00 feet thereof in Section 34, Township 28, Range 24, Hennepin County,
Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the requested site plan has been reviewed by staff and meets City
requirements; and
WHEREAS, the proposed site plane is consistent with the elements and objectives
of the City's development guides, including the Comprehensive Plan and any
redevelopment plans established for the area; and
WHEREAS, the proposed site plan promotes an internal sense of order among
buildings and uses, provides adequate vehicular and pedestrian circulation, promotes
energy conservation, and minimizes any adverse environmental effects; and
and
WHEREAS, the City has fully considered the request for approval for the site plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Richfield, Minnesota, as follows:
That a site plan providing four ballfields, concessions areas, playground features and
75 parking spaces is hereby approved with the following additional stipulations:
a) That final architectural detail and landscaping plans be approved by the
Community Development Director prior to the issuance of any permits.
b) That all landscaping and site improvements be maintained and if necessary
replaced in conformance with approved plans.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 12th day of May
2009.
