RESOLUTION NO. 8137
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS "NO
PARKING ANYTIME" ON PENN AVENUE FROM 75TH STREET TO I-494 AND ON
76TH STREET FROM SHERIDAN AVENUE TO NEWTON AVENUE
WHEREAS, the removal of on-street parking will improve
traffic flow and increase safety in the area of 76th Street and
Penn Avenue.
WHEREAS, the removal of on-street parking will not
adversely affect properties adjacent to the proposed road
improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Richfield, Minnesota, as follows:
1. There will be no parking any time on both sides of Penn
Avenue from 75th Street to I-494 and on 76th Street from Sheridan
Avenue to Newton Avenue.
2. This change in traffic control signs will become
effective when the proposed improvements to Penn Avenue and 76th
Street are completed.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota this 25th day of April, 1994.
