08-10171rRESOLUTION NO. 10171 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF RICHFIELD AND STEVEN L. DEVICH, CITY MANAGER NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota as follows: The following section of the Employment Agreement between the City of Richfield, Minnesota and Steven L. Devich, City Manager, dated February 2005 is amended as follows: Section 5. Salary. Employer agrees to increase the City Manager's total base annual salary of $125,548.80 (including $3,500 of deferred compensation annually) to $129,630.00 (including $3,500 of deferred compensation annually), effective February 24, 2009 payable in installments at the time as other employees of the employer are paid. Section 11 Disability, Health and Life Insurance. C r,romii ~mc +horcnr,. Employer agrees to make available to Employee those plans for hospitalization surgical comprehensive medical, and dental insurance providing individual and dependent coverage ("Insurance Plans") that are made available to any group of persons also employed by Employer. Employee may annually (or with such lesser frequency as may be required by applicable plans) select an Insurance Plan. in which the Employee will participate The Employer is obligated to pay 100 percent of the premium for the Insurance Plan selected by the Employee. If the Employee selects an Insurance Plan that includes a Health Savings Account ("HSA") then, in addition to the Insurance Plan premium the Employer shall pay into the Employee's HSA the lesser of (I) the deductible required by the Insurance Plan and HSA or (ii) the difference between the premium for the selected Insurance Plan and the highest premium that would have been paid by the Employer if the Employee had selected any other Insurance Plan.
