CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Goettel at 6:01 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Members Present: Debbie Goettel, Mayor; Susan Rosenberg; Fred Wroge; Sue Sandahl; and
Bill Kilian.
Staff Present: Steven L. Devich, City Manager; Barry Fritz, Acting Public Safety Director;
and Cheryl Krumholz, Recording Secretary.
Item # I DISCUSSION REGARDING PUBLIC SAFETY CRIME STATISTICS
Acting Public Safety Director Fritz reviewed the Quarterly Part 1 & Part 2 Crime Statistics
compiled by the Richfield Public Safety Department.
Mayor Goettel stated she asked for his discussion because if Public Safety is being asked to
do more then it is important for the City Council to receive data to monitor crime trends in the City.
Acting Public Safety Director Fritz discussed the current trends in Richfield and explained the
patrol shifts and staffing.
The City Council consensus was to request a year-end report be presented at a
Worksession.

The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 6:25 p.m.
