08-1036rHRA RESOLUTION NO. 1036 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6704 PLEASANT AVENUE UNDER THE NEW HOME PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Richfield, Minnesota ("the HRA") desires to purchase certain real property pursuant to and in furtherance of the New Home Program, said property being described as: 6704 Pleasant Avenue Lot 2, Block 7, Lyndale Shores on Wood Lake, Hennepin County WHEREAS, the HRA is authorized by Minnesota Statutes Section 469.012 to acquire real property within its area of operations; and WHEREAS, a purchase price has been negotiated; and WHEREAS, local HRA funds are available for acquisition purposes. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Richfield, Minnesota as follows 1. The purchase price for the property at 6704 Pleasant is approved at $46,404 using the Housing Fund. 2. The Chairperson and Executive Director are authorized to execute purchase agreements and to take other actions necessary to purchase the property for the amount set forth in this Resolution.
