RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF NON-MOTORIZED
TRANSPORTATION PILOT PROGRAM GRANT AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY TO
ADMINISTER THE FUNDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH GRANT AGREEMENTS AND
TERMS PRESCRIBED BY THE DONORS
WHEREAS, The City of Richfield has been awarded a $50,000 federal grant from
the Federal Highway Administration administered through the Transit for Livable
Communities, the donor organization, to conduct a design study of Richfield Arterials; and
WHEREAS, The City of Richfield has received proposals from several engineering
consulting firms to perform the design study of Richfield Arterials;
WHEREAS, The City of Richfield staff has reviewed and evaluated the proposals
from the various engineering consulting firms using a qualifications based selection
process; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED , by the City Council of the City of
Richfield, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Richfield hereby accepts the federal Non-
Motorized Transportation Pilot Program Grant from the Transit for Livable
Communities organization in 2008 and authorizes the City to administer the
funds in accordance with grant agreements and terms prescribed by the
donors.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 26th day of
February, 2008.
