RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EXTENSION
TO THE AMENDED PLANNED UNIT DEVELOMENT,
FINAL DEVELOMPENT PLAN AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
TO ALLOW A PUBLIC SCHOOL FACILITY
WITHIN THE "HUB" SHOPPING CENTER
AT 100 WEST 66TH STREET
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 10916, adopted on February 11, 2014, the City
Council approved an amended planned unit development, final development plan, and
conditional use permit at 100 West 66th Street; and
WHEREAS, Subsections 547.09, Subdivision 9 of the Richfield City Code requires
that substantial construction be completed within one year of approval, less the approval
expire or the applicant requests and is granted an extension; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has received a request from Aarchitects (the "Applicant"),
on behalf of Flex Academy, for a six-month extension; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to provide the additional time requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
as follows:
1. The City Council extends the approvals granted by Resolution No. 10916 for a
period not to exceed six months.
2. The deadline for "substantial construction" is hereby extended to August 11,
2015.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 10th day of
