RESOLUTION NO. 8265
RESOLUTION APPROVING REOPENER ISSUES OF LABOR AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF RICHFIELD AND
LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES (LELS), LOCAL 123 BARGAINING UNIT
FOR THE YEARS 1995 AND 1996
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Richfield Police Officers Federation have
reached an understanding concerning conditions of employment for the years 1995 and
1996; and
WHEREAS, it would be inappropriate to penalize LELS members who have
negotiated in good faith; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Ordinance requires that contracts between the City
and the exclusive representative of the employees in an appropriate bargaining unit
shall be implemented by Council resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
approve the two year Labor Agreement between the City of Richfield and LELS Local
123 Bargaining Unit for the years 1995 and 1996, with a reopener for wages and
insurance for 1996, under the provisions of the Labor Agreement to be implemented,
effective January 1, 1995.
