RESOLUTION NO. 8330
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROJECTED USE OF FUNDS FOR 1996
URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING SIGNATURE OF SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT
WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY AND ANY THIRD PARTY AGREEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield, Minnesota through execution of a Joint
Cooperation Agreement with Hennepin County, is cooperating in the Urban Hennepin
County Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield developed a proposal for the use of Urban
Hennepin County CDBG funds made available to it, and held a public hearing on
February 26, 1996, to obtain the views of citizens on local and Urban Hennepin County
housing and community development needs and priorities the City's proposed use of
$255,753 from the 1996 Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block
Grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Richfield,
Minnesota approves the following projects for funding from the Urban Henenpin County
Community Development Block Grant program and authorizes submittal of the proposal
to Hennepin County for review and inclusion in the 1996 Urban Henenpin County
Community Development Block Grant Program.
