RESOLUTION NO. 8457
RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COMMISSIONER OF TRANSPORTATION
TRANSFER $25,000 FROM RICHFIELD'S MUNICIPAL STATE AID
CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT TO ITS MAINTENANCE ACCOUNT
TO FINANCE THE MILLING AND OVERLAY OF
THE INTERSECTION AT 66TH STREET AND L YNDALE
WHEREAS, pursuant to ordinance, the City Council of the City of Richfield did
establish a policy for street maintenance; and
WHEREAS, there is permanent pavement distress in this area which is causing
scattered spalling; and
WHEREAS, there are no funds allocated in the 1997 Capital Improvement
Budget nor in the 1997 street maintenance operating budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield, Minnesota, to request the following.
Transfer of $25,000 from Richfield's Municipal State Aid construction
account into the maintenance account to study, mill and overlay the
intersection at 66th Street and Lyndale Avenue.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 12th day of
May, 1997.
