RESOLUTION NO. 8578
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN
COUNTY FOR PARTICIPATION IN RECONSTRUCTION OF RETAINING WALLS
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield and Hennepin County have been negotiating to
reconstruct certain existing retaining walls along various County roadways within the
corporate limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City has indicated a willingness to prepare the necessary plans
and specifications and to administer a contract for the aforementioned retaining wall
reconstruction; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County, in accordance with the terms and conditions set
forth in Agreement No. PW 14-19-98, County Project No. 9813 (a.k.a. City Project No.
427 -35-655), is willing to authorize the City to enter into and administer a construction
contract for the reconstruction of retaining walls along County roadways within the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Richfield.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 22nd day of
