RESOLUTION NO. 8684
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO
RICHFIELD-MAC NOISE MITIGATION AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield and the MAC have previously entered into an
agreement entitled Richfield-MAC Noise Mitigation Agreement ("Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the parties are now desirous to amend the Agreement as indicated
below; and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendment has been reviewed by the City Council of
the City of Richfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council as follows:
1. Exhibit B. to the Agreement is amended by amending paragraph 2 thereof to
read as follows:
2. The Low Frequency Noise Policy Committee shall consist of the
following members: Richfield, Metropolitan Airports Commission
Bloomington, and Minneapolis, with members appointed by the body
they represent. The Federal Aviation Administration, Minneapolis
Pollution Control Agency, Metropolitan Council, and Metropolitan
Airport Sound Abatement Council will provide technical assistance to
the Policy Committee.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to take all
necessary actions on behalf of the City of Richfield to memorialize the
approved amendment
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 22nd day of
February, 1999.
