RESOLUTION NO. 8755
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2000 - 2003 RICHFIELD COMMUNITY HEALTH
SERVICES PLAN AND SUBMISSION OF SAID PLAN AND APPLICATION FOR THE
2000 - 2003 COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES ACT SUBSIDY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richfield is the official governing body
of the City of Richfield and functions as the official Board of Health of the City of
Richfield; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is committed to promote, support, and maintain the
health of the entire community at the highest level; and
WHEREAS, the Community Health Services Act provides for subsidies in
support of public health services on the local level throughout the State of Minnesota;
and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Board of Health of the City of Richfield has reviewed
and approved the 2000 - 2003 Community Health Services Plan for the provision of
public health services in the City of Richfield, and recommends that the City Council
authorize its submission in application for a grant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds this plan consistent with the needs and
priorities of the community as determined by the Advisory Board of Health and as
expressed by the citizens of Richfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY
OF RICHFIELD, that the 2000 - 2003 Community Health Services Plan for the City of
Richfield is approved and authorization is hereby given to submit said plan in application
for a Community Health Services Act subsidy for 2000 - 2003.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 23rd day of
August, 1999.
