01-9005r 37 RESOLUTION NO. 9005 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6444 CLINTON AVENUE SOUTH WHEREAS, the City of Richfield, Minnesota (the "City") has considered the purchase of 6444 Clinton Avenue South with CDBG funds on behalf of the Richfield HRA for $126,000. The property is further described as: Lot 6, Block 2, Ralph Milner's Second Addition; and WHEREAS, the City proposes to sell real property to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (the "HRA") for $1.00 in furtherance of HRA housing programs; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the City Charter, Section 13.04, the City is authorized to sell its property following a public hearing for which notice was published not less then ten days before such hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota as follows: 1. The City Manager and Mayor are authorized to take those actions necessary to purchase 6444 Clinton Avenue for $126,000. 2. The City shall hold a public hearing and second reading of the ordinance regarding the sale of the land to the HRA on Monday, February 12, 2001. 3. The City Clerk is directed to publish notice of such hearing in the official newspaper of the City and post notice of said hearing.
