AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 210
RICHFIELD CITY CODE PERTAINING TO
CITY COUNCIL SALARIES
THE CITY OF RICHFIELD DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Subsection 210 of the Richfield City Code is hereby amended as follows:
Subdivision 1. Mayor. The annual salary of the mayor as of January 1, 2042 2014 is
$409 $10,591. Effective January 1, 2043 2015, the salary of the mayor shall be increased
by a percentage that is the lesser of 3.5 percent or the percentage increase in the annual pay
structure granted on January 1, 2042 2014 to Management and General Services pay plans.
Subdivision 2. Council. The annual salary of a member of the council as of January 1,
2042 2014 is $7,901-$8,220. Effective January 1, 2013 2015, the salary of a member of the
council-shall be increased by a percentage that is the lesser of 3.5 percent or the percentage
increase in the annual pay structure granted on January 1, 2012 2014 to Management and
General Services pay plans.
Subdivision 3. Effective January 1, 2014 2016, the annual salary of the mayor and a
member of the council as provided in Subdivision 1 and 2 above shall be increased by a
percentage that is the lesser of 3.5 percent or the percentage increase in the annual pay
structure granted on January 1, 2013 2015 to Management and General Services pay plans
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance becomes effective on January 1, 2015.
