The meeting was called t� order by Roger Swanson. Those present
were Roger Swanson, Dave D�elzer & Craig Usten. Minutes of the
J une 21 s' meeting were approved as corrected. The treasurer's
report of$4092.20 was presented, the change indicated by $138.00
for the purchase of the router for the school in Vera Blanca.
Roger reported that fifth graders from the dual language schaol
were planning to visit Costa Rica next June. He will set up a
meeting with Jen Behnke if he can to share info.
Dave has made inquiries regarding the possibility of a sculpture for
Heredia Park but has still not yet been able to �ind ou# anything.
Roger will let us know which city council meeting, the 2nd Qr �th
Tues, in C7ctober he is scheduled to �ive his report. We will try to
attend if we can. The need for appointees for aur commission was
discussed.
Also discussed was the next step in cultural exchange. We hope to
invite Heredia as it was their turn to come here.
Our next meeting is scheduled for November 15t"
